Mr. Mas Mulyono is one of the lecturers in English
Department. First time I met him when he became my examiner in the Unesa test.
Although he will be retired soon, he still has more spirit when he teaches,
because he has good appearance, elegant personality, and great lifestyle.
Mr. Mul’s appearance is different from Indonesian people
in common. His body is big and tall, with gray hair and brown skin. Most of the
students will know him easily just by looking at his physical appearance. I think he
looks like Nelson Mandela, the ex President of South Africa, who has good
appearance.
Elegant, serious, and discipline are the first
impressions that I get from him. He makes some rules and gives punishments for
his students who are not discipline. But, actually he is really funny, because
sometimes he likes to make jokes. He can manage time well, so that there is serious and fun
time.
Other special characteristics of Mr.
Mul are his great lifestyles and habits. He always goes to campus by his own car
and never comes late. He speaks very loud and clear in the class, so all of
students can get the points. The other hand, he also likes sports to stay
healthy. He spends his leasure time by playing golf.
In my mind, Mr. Mul is “the right
man in the right place”. He is a senior lecturer who has a good spirit to
influence his students to be better. If you meet him, I think you will have the
same opinion as me.
